About MOMIJI
MOMIJI means Japanese ‘maple leaf’ changes its color depending on the season.
We are located at 26 Victoria Avenue in Whanganui which used be the BNZ bank building.
MOMIJI is a Japanese owned fully-licensed restaurant. We also welcome takeaways.
Our menu consists of Party platters, Appetizer such as Karage, Gyoza, Bento boxes, Sushi, Sashimi, Pan-fried, Domburi, Ramen, Udon, Soba noodles, Japanese curry and fresh salads. We have a wide selection of beverages which includes Japanese beer such as Sapporo tap, Asahi tap and bottles, also Steinlager, Heineken tap and bottles, Japanese Sake, NZ wine and more.
